Poland's new industrial orders fell by 5.3 percent year on year in August 2020 after a 0.1 percent year-on-year increase in July, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday.

In month-on-month terms, new orders went down by 7.3 percent after a 0.8 percent increase a month ago, GUS said.

New export orders grew by 0.2 percent year on year in August 2020 after a 2.5 percent year on year increase in July.

In monthly terms, new export orders went down by 7.2 percent month on month in August, following a 3.3 percent increase in July.
