A new border crossing between Poland and Ukraine will open next year, an aide to the Polish prime minister said on Tuesday.

Michal Dworczyk told a press conference at both countries' common border that the new crossing at Malhowice-Nyzhankovychi will enhance the flow of people and goods between Ukraine and Poland.

"The good news I have for you today is that a new border crossing between Poland and Ukraine, which was planned to open in 2025, will be opened in less than a year, before the summer vacation, thanks to decisions taken by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the appropriate ministers," Dworczyk said.
