Nearly all expats voted in presidential elections

Almost 87 percent of Polish expat voters voted in Sunday's Polish presidential election, Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk said on Tuesday.

Wawrzyk said the average turnout in expat communities was 86.67 percent, with 311,000 valid and 283 invalid votes. Expat Poles voted for their president in 167 constituencies worldwide.

Wawrzyk said the expat turnout at this year's elections was around 6 percentage points above that at the 2015 presidential vote.
