More internet users in Poland

The percentage of internet users in Poland grew by 1.6 percentage points year on year to 77.5 percent in 2018, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Monday.

The proportion of regular internet users grew by 2.1 percentage points to 74.8 percent.

In 2018, a total of 82.7 percent of Polish households had at least one computer (up by 0.9 percentage point from 2017), and 84.2 percent had access to the Internet (up by 2.3 percentage points).

According to GUS, the percentage of companies using broadband internet reached 95 percent while companies with mobile internet accounted for 67.6 percent of the total.
