More foreign students in Poland

The number of foreign students in Poland is growing steadily, this year around 85,000 foreigners are enrolled in Polish universities, concluded the participants in a Monday-launched "Foreign students in Poland 2020" conference in Łódź, central Poland.

Attending the two-day conference at Łódź Technical University are over 300 delegates, including college heads, international cooperation experts, representatives of academic institutions, as well as government and local government officials.

The biggest rise is in students from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, most choose schools in central, southern and south-western Poland. Most popular among foreign students are Warsaw University and the renowned Jagiellonian University in Kraków, southern Poland.
