More Covid-19 vaccines arrive in Poland on Monday

Supplies of 2.6 million Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines and 1 million AstraZeneca vaccines have arrived in Poland, the head of the government's Strategic Reserves Agency has told PAP.

Michal Kuczmierowski added that Moderna vaccines would arrive in Poland either on Monday night or on Tuesday.

"A supply of Jannsen vaccines is expected to reach Poland in the second half of the week," Kuczmierowski added.

Covid vaccinations began in Poland on December 27, 2020 with Poles getting vaccines from one of four companies, Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson.

According to data published on government websites, to date, 28.4 million Poles have already received jabs against Covid-19 and nearly 12.7 million people have been fully vaccinated.
