Poland's health minister on Tuesday announced a “zero tolerance” policy against aggressive anti-vaccination activists.

Adam Niedzielski made the announcement while decorating medical staff in the central town of Grodzisk Mazowiecki who helped deal with a violent incident on Sunday at a local inoculation point.

Scuffles broke out and two people were arrested when anti-vaccination protestors tried to force their way into the vaccination centre.

"There will be no tolerance for displays of aggression by vaccination opponents," said Niedzielski. "I am currently discussing measures to tighten the state policy in this respect with the interior and justice ministers."
