Labour costs in Q2 up 7.9 ct y/y - Eurostat

Hourly labour costs in Poland in Q2 of this year rose 7.9 percent year on year after a 5.8 percent rise year on year in Q1, the EU's Eurostat statistics office said on Wednesday.

Labour costs in industry were up 7.1 percent after a 5.2 percent rise in Q1, in construction 8.4 percent up after a 4.2 percent rise in Q1, and in services 7.2 percent up after a 3.6 percent rise in Q1.

Wages in Q2 also rose 7.9 percent, Eurostat said.
