Labour costs in Poland up 6.6 pct y/y in Q3 of 2019 - Eurostat

Nominal hourly labour costs grew in Poland by 6.6 percent year on year in the third quarter of 2019, after a 7.2-percent rise in the 2nd quarter of 2019, the European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, reported on Monday.

Labour costs in industry grew by 7.0 percent, in the construction sector by 2.6 percent and in the service sector by 6.1 percent.

Wages grew by 6.6 percent year on year, Eurostat said.
