Kamil Stoch is third best paid ski jumper
Poland's ski jumper Kamil Stoch is the third best paid ski jumper in the Ski Jumping World Cup category. Among other Polish jumpers, placed in the top five, are Piotr Żyła and Dawid Kubacki.
Stoch earned CHF 144,600 (EUR 127,215) in 34 ski competitions. The fourth and fifth place is taken by Polish jumpers Piotr Żyła and Dawid Kubacki. The sportsmen earned CHF 124,350 (EUR 109,400) and CHF 116 300(EUR 102,318), respectively.
The bonus granted by the International Ski Federation (FIS) for first place is CHF 10,000 (EUR 8,797) in an individual competition. The runner-up receives CHF 8,000 (EUR 7,038) and the third place takes CHF 6,000 (EUR 5,278). The skier coming last, 30th place in the final FIS series, receives CHF 100 (EUR 87).
