A football support took his love for the game to a new level by hiring a crane so he could watch a match live.

The Polish football league has resumed again after a break owing to the coronavirus lockdown but games are played behind closed doors, forcing fans to watch matches on TV or take matters, as in the case of the dedicated fan, into their own hands.

The fan was seen perched on the platform crane as his team, Śląsk Wrocław, played Płock away. Now the club wants to find out who the fan, who was prepared to go to new heights for his team, is.

“Śląsk Wrocław—a love for life,” the club wrote on its official Twitter page. “This fan went to Płock and rented a crane near the stadium to watch WKS. Help us find out who this fan is. Contact us if you read this.”

In another tweet it said “we dedicate victory to this amazing fan.”

Krzysztof Mączyński, a midfielder for the club, was quick to praise the fan.

“Before I tell you about the match I first want to say hello to and thank this fan,” he wrote on Twitter. “Great respect. People like this fan make it worth running out and playing.”
