HackYeah Online 2020 to kick off this weekend
HackYeah Online 2020 June edition is a virtual edition of the largest stationary hackathon in Europe. The aim of the event is to bring together the most creative minds from all over the world in order to create technological solutions to current business issues.
The best projects will be awarded with prizes founded by Partners that are worth over 180 000 PLN. The online edition will be held worldwide from 5th to 7th of June. The tickets are free. The solutions that the participants will be working on are:
- Supporting business by Main Partner BGK - 50 000 PLN TOTAL PRIZE
- Engagement during online meetings by GovTech Polska - 20 000 PLN TOTAL PRIZE
- Gaming by GovTech Polska - 20 000 PLN TOTAL PRIZE
- SupervisionHack: #ScamTrapper by UKNF - 30 000 PLN TOTAL PRIZE
- Safety during travelling by Asseco - 10 000 EURO TOTAL PRIZE
- Oncological patient’s track by DCO - 20 000 PLN TOTAL PRIZE
Anyone can take part in the event: UXers, programmers, graphic designers, product managers, developers, basically anyone who loves to think outside the box! The participants will have a total of 40 hours to work on the project. The projects can be submitted individually or in groups that count up to six people. HackYeah Online is also a great opportunity to take part in various webinars that will be held from 1st to 5th June as a part of the event.
The organizer of the event is PROIDEA, which is a company that has been organizing events that are dedicated to the IT industry for many years. It is the originator and producer of HackYeah. Hackathon is supported by GovTech Polska - a program that is aimed at engaging people into introducing innovations to the public sector.
