Government sitting participants tested, all negative - minister

Persons who attended the last government sitting have been tested for the coronavirus and all results have proved negative, Health Minister Łukasz Szumowski said on Monday.
Asked about the test results, Szumowski said that all results proved negative, but added that if anyone in the government had contact with the virus at a later date than the sitting, they should take the necessary tests themselves.
"The group which was present at the sitting has been tested, and all results are negative," Szumowski said.
In a statement to PAP on Tuesday government spokesperson Piotr Mueller said the tests were carried out after the Sunday diagnosis of the coronavirus in Environment Minister Michał Woś. Nine government members did not attend the last government sitting, including the prime minister and Szumowski.
Woś said on Monday evening that he was feeling well.
Szumowski said on Tuesday that there were no reports of positive coronavirus test results in the president's immediate surroundings. He also said that persons who had personal contacts with Woś will be tested for the coronavirus, but there was no need to examine the entire government.
