Gloria Artis medals awarded to Argentinian and Vietnamese pianists

Argentinian and Vietnamese pianists, Nelson Goerner and Dang Thai Son, have been awarded Poland's Gloria Artis Gold Medal for Merit to Polish Culture.
"You are the best ambassadors of not only our music, but also of Polish culture," director of The Fryderyk Chopin Institute (NIFC) Artur Szklener said.
The medals were presented during ceremony held at the Polish Culture Ministry in Warsaw and attended, among others, by Deputy Culture Minister Wanda Zwinogrodzka, Ambassador of Vietnam to Poland Vu Dang Dzung, the Consul and Secretary of the Argentinian Embassy in Poland Miguel Angel Cuna and Director of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute Artur Szklener.
"In recognition of services to Polish culture, Minister of Culture and National Heritage Prof. Piotr Glinski awarded Gloria Artis Gold Medals to Mr. Dang Thai Son and Mr. Nelson Goerner. We would like to express our appreciation for the artistic craftsmanship and show our deep respect for artists who do so much to show the world the beauty and value of Polish cultural heritage," Szklener said.
