Global meeting of Poles in Milan called off

Organizers of the 60 Million Congress - Global Polonia Summit, in view of a rapid spread of the coronavirus disease in Italy, have canceled the event scheduled to take place in Milan on February 27-29.

At the same time, organizers announced that the congress will be held on June 25-27.

The Global Polonia Summit, first held in the US in 2018, serves 60 million Poles living around the world as a venue for strengthening a global network of business contacts based on Polonia values, traditions, and knowledge.

The programme of the congress includes panels with experts, business leaders and Polish government representatives, local governments, and ambassadors, as well as an informal section devoted to networking.

Eight editions of the congress have been planned for 2020. The 60 Million Congress is to be held in various cities around the world, including Miami, Milan, Berlin, Chicago, Toronto, Rzeszow, New York and London.
