The rate of flu infections in children under 14 is clearly falling despite infections as a whole hitting their peak, a deputy health minister said on Tuesday.

"By all indications we are now in a flu infection peak, with 115 infections per 100,000 inhabitants... but we are observing a visible fall in infections of children under 14," said Waldemar Kraska.

Kraska also said RSV and Covid-19 infections were on the decline, with a 25-percent drop in new Covid cases from the previous week.
