Final composition of government to be announced this week - minister
Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology Jadwiga Emilewicz told the private TV broadcaster TVN24 on Tuesday that the government will be formed very quickly and the announcement of its final composition will be published this week.
Emilewicz said that the government will definitely form a ministry that will be responsible for the economy.
When asked whether Solidary Poland, the ruling party Law and Justice's (PiS) coalition partner, wants to discuss its own candidate for the prime minister's office, the minister noted that the decision had been already made.
"Mateusz Morawiecki is the candidate indicated by the chairman (PiS party leader - PAP) Jarosław Kaczyński," she said, adding that there is no reason to change the PM when Poland has a zero-deficit budget, great economic growth and a very good international situation.
Emilewicz also told TVN24 that the United Right coalition, comprising the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, Solidary Poland and Agreement, has been operating well over the past four years and that PiS has not undertaken any activities to induce Agreement to leave the coalition.
