FDI inflow to Poland down in 2020

The flow of foreign direct investment into Poland decreased year on year in 2020, UNCTAD has reported, adding that global FDI flows are under severe pressure this year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last year FDI into Poland dropped to USD 10.08 billion from the USD 10.85 billion recorded in 2019, UNCTAD wrote in a World Investment Report 2020.

In 2018, FDI in Poland reached USD 15.99 billion.

At the same time, the FD outflow from Poland grew to USD 1.8 billion in 2020 from USD 1.29 billion recorded in 2019, UNCTAD reported.
