Exhibition "Young Poland. Polish Fin de Siecle Art "

In the art museum in Gothenburg, in cooperation with the National Museum in Warsaw and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, an exhibition devoted to Polish art from the 19th and 20th century was opened.

There are over 60 works by famous Polish artists such as Olga Boznańska, Józef Chełmoński, Jacek Malczewski, Józef Mehoffer, Edward Okuń, Wojciech Weiss, Witold Wojtkiewicz and Stanisław Wyspiański.This is the first such huge exhibition dedicated to Young Poland in Sweden. Its creators want to introduce the Polish art of the late 19th century to the Swedish people. In a wider perspective, the exhibition also shows a generation of Polish artists and the dynamic changes taking place in Europe at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.
