Education minister tests negative for COVID-19

Education Minister Dariusz Piontkowski announced on Twitter on Friday that he had tested negative for COVID-19. He had been sent to quarantine on Monday after having contact with Przemysław Czarnek, the new candidate for education minister, who had tested positive.

Przemysław Czarnek, a candidate for the post of minister of science and higher education, announced on Monday that his test for the presence of the coronavirus was positive. As part of epidemiological procedures and due to his contacts with Czarnek in recent days, Piontkowski was sent to quarantine.
