E-commerce booming in Poland
The number of internet shops in Poland rose by 1,800 in 2018 to almost 31,000, the Rzeczpospolita daily reported on Wednesday. It cited data compiled by Bisnode, a company which deals in digital business.
This is the best result in several years and shows that online trading still has huge potential, the daily wrote.
As the newspaper emphasised, e-commerce has been developing very quickly in Poland with a two-digit increase in turnover which, in 2018, exceeded PLN 50 billion (EUR 11.66 bln)
Such a boom also translates into the high number of online sellers, and last year their growth was exceptional.
