December's M3 money supply up - central bank

Poland’s M3 money supply grew in December 2019 by 8.3 percent year on year and by 1.5 percent month on month to PLN 1.57 trillion (EUR 369 billion), the National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced on Friday.

Household deposits grew by 9.3 percent year on year and by 1.2 percent month on month to PLN 881.39 billion (EUR 207.45 billion).

Corporate deposits grew by 10.1 percent year on year and by 4.4 percent month on month to PLN 316,242 billion (EUR 74,432 billion).

Loans in the household sector went up by 6.0 percent year on year and remained unchanged month on month at PLN 766.55 billion (EUR 180.42 billion), while loans in the corporate sector grew by 1.1 percent year on year and fell by 1.8 percent month on month to PLN 388.33 billion (EUR 91.40 billion).
