Czech national library presents Polish science exhibition
The exhibition 'Poland - this is science' portraying 25 of the most eminent achievements of the last 27 years of Polish science opened on Tuesday in the National Library of Technology in Prague, Czech Republic.
The exhibition was organised by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and the Polish Culture Institute in Prague. According to one of the organisers, the event shows not only achievements of Polish science, but also its financing system and international scientific cooperation.
Among the achievements are graphene, cochlear implants, discoveries of planets beyond the Solar System and archaeological achievements in Egypt.
The exhibition also presents research on gravity waves and findings about the brain which were conducted by Polish scientists.
