Council of Ministers meeting held via videoconference on Friday

On Friday afternoon a meeting of the Council of Ministers was held in the form of a videoconference, announced the Prime Minister's Office. This was the first government meeting in its new composition.

The meeting's agenda showed that the ministers addressed the draft amendment to legislation concerning public roads. Additionally, they were to discuss a bill on complaints handling policy and another bill concerning the disputes of clients of financial-market entities. Also scheduled were talks on the Financial Education Fund.

The new ministers of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's government were sworn in by President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday.

Appointed as deputy prime ministers were: Jarosław Kaczyński, the ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) leader; Jarosław Gowin, leader of Agreement, a junior coalition partner; and Piotr Gliński from PiS.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was appointed as the minister of digitisation.
