Corporate investment at same level in coming year - minister

The government wants to uphold the present investment level in the corporate sector through, among other means, a special pro-investment package, Development Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz told PAP on Tuesday.

Emilewicz said the package, to come into force on January 1 2020, offers new tax reliefs for enterprisers, as well as instruments to eliminate payment delays. Under the new laws, public contractors will be obliged to pay subcontractors within a 30-day deadline, private contractors within 60 days.

The new regulations also make social insurance tariffs for SMEs profit-deductible, instead of sales-deductible as to date.

Emilewicz said her ministry was also planning new CIT regulations and tax reliefs for IT- and automation-investing firms
