Coronavirus kills nearly 200 healthcare workers in Poland

The coronavirus epidemic has led to the death of 183 Polish healthcare personnel, Health Ministry data show.

The deadly virus has contributed to the death of 86 doctors, 67 nurses, 7 paramedics and 4 midwives, PAP has learnt from a ministry report.

The toll was further increased by the deaths of 12 dentists, 5 pharmacists and 2 laboratory diagnosticians.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus has already infected 55,269 nurses, 21,964 doctors, 5,258 midwives, 3,220 paramedics, 2,096 dentists, 2,359 pharmacists and 1,760 laboratory diagnosticians.
