Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk said on Monday that the coronavirus disease will not slow down construction work and assured that 1.5 million jobs in the sector are not at risk.

Addressing a press conference, Adamczyk said that all construction companies, large and small may be sure that construction works will be continued in Poland this year as earlier planned.

Adamczyk noted that 1.5 million jobs in the construction sector are "not at risk". "Everyone who works in the construction industry can be sure of tomorrow."

The infrastructure minister on Monday visited Poland’s south-eastern Podkarpackie province where he signed documents regarding the construction of several ring roads, among others, Przemyśl, Nowa Dęba and Stalowa Wola.
