Commercial real estate investment in Poland down in H1

Investment in commercial real estate in Poland in the first two quarters of the year fell EUR 0.9 billion, year on year, to EUR 2 billion, according to a report published by real estate consultancy firm CBRE published on Tuesday.

The report also found that the first six months of 2021 saw a 9- percent drop in investment in European commercial real estate, to EUR 125.6 billion. The drop, CBRE says, is in part due to the high investment figures recorded in the first half of the previous year before the pandemic took hold.

Second-quarter commercial real estate investment in Poland came to EUR 770 million, well below the previous year's EUR 1.2 billion.
