Coal sales up m/m, down y/y in June

Poland's coal sales in June 2019 stood at 4 million tonnes, up from 3.46 million tonnes in May 2020 and down from 4.44 mln tonnes in June 2019, Poland's Industrial Development Agency (ARP) has said.

The data provided by ARP, which conducts analyses of the Polish coal market, embrace all domestic coal producers.

June coal production amounted to 3.83 million tonnes against 3.19 million tonnes in May and 4.69 million tonnes in June 2019.

The amount of coal in reserve at the end of June reached 7.25 million tonnes, against 7.45 million tonnes a month earlier and 3.99 million tonnes a year earlier.
