Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that cemeteries will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Sunday (November 1) marks All Saints' Day, when Poles traditionally visit the graves of their loved ones.

"We held off with this decision because we lived in hope that the number of cases would at least slightly decrease, but today it is higher than yesterday, yesterday was higher than the day before yesterday and we do not want to increase the risk due to the fact that large groups of people will gather in cemeteries, on public transport and in front of cemeteries," Morawiecki said on Friday.

Morawiecki also informed that from Monday, public administration employees will work remotely for at least two weeks.
