CD Projekt Red teams up with Japanese studio for incredible new anime series on Netflix

Polish video game company CD Projekt Red is to create an anime set in the world of its game Cyberpunk 2077.
Entitled “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners”, the series will be released in 2022 and will have ten episodes. The series will not recreate the Cyberpunk 2077 game but instead will be a stand-alone story with new characters – that of a street kid in Night City who becomes an “edgerunner” (an outlaw) to survive.
