The Cabinet Council meeting between the president and the government, planned to take place on Tuesday morning, was cancelled due to one of the ministers having tested positive for coronavirus.

President Andrzej Duda said in a Tuesday morning statement that he made the decision after he learned that the environment minister, Michal Wos, had tested positive for coronavirus.

The Cabinet Council meeting will probably take place on Wednesday, the president also said.

The Tuesday meeting was to be devoted to the government's legislative package aimed to support Polish companies that have suffered from the coronavirus epidemic.
