Beer we go! Pubs, restaurants and hairdressers to reopen next week!
Pubs, restaurants and hairdressers are to reopen next week, PM Mateusz Morawiecki said on Wednesday.
The PM added that restrictions on primary school early classes, sporting events and public transport are to be eased too.
Poland will reopen restaurants, hair and beauty services from Monday, May 18 under new sanitary regime, Morawiecki told a Wednesday briefing.
Restaurants and service providers will be able to operate with restrictions on spacing and walk-in service as well as the standard set of personal protective measures, he said.
As of Monday, outdoor sporting events involving more participants will be permitted. Indoor sports activities will be possible with limits on number of people. Other easing on existing restrictions envisages nearly doubling of passenger loads in public transport.
Schools will provide some educational and day care options for grade 1-3 from May 25 at parental discretion, the prime minister said, adding that the home care benefits for parents will still be available.
Consultations with teachers for primary and secondary school final year students preparing for the exams will be allowed as of the same date and from June 1 similar consultations will be launched for all students who want to improve their grades.
Some on-site adult education will also be possible under strict sanitary regime to allow students of music and other arts universities to prepare for exams and future competitions.
