Banking sentiment indicator up in November
Poland's banking sentiment indicator (Pengab) rose by 2.9 point month on month in November 2018 to 28.9 points, according to the Polish Bank Association (ZBP) and the Kantar TNS market research centre.
The current situation assessment index rose by 5.2 point to 26.0 points, and the projection index went down by 0.5 point to 31.8 points.
The index of projected household loans went down by 4.0 point month on month to 48.0 points, and the assessment index for the segment fell by 6.0 points to 18.0.
The index of projected corporate loans decreased by 8.0 points from October to 20.0 points, and the assessment index for the segment remained flat at 9.0 points.
The index projecting the financial condition of households in the coming six months decreased by 3.0 points to 16.0 points, while the index concerning the financial condition of companies rose by 4.0 points month on month to 11.0 points.
