Banking sentiment indicator up in May
Poland's banking sentiment indicator (Pengab) rose by 27.4 points month on month in May 2020 to minus 23.4 points, according to the Polish Bank Association (ZBP) and the Kantar TNS market research centre.
The current situation assessment index went up by 25.8 points to minus 24.1 points, and the projection index increased by 29.1 points to minus 22.7 points.
The index of projected household loans went up by 44.0 points month on month to minus 9 points, and the assessment index for the segment fell by 2.0 points to minus 57.0 points.
The index of projected corporate loans increased by 22.0 points in May and stood at minus 4.0 points, while the assessment index for the segment rose by 7.0 points to minus 25.0 points.
