August's M3 money supply up - central bank

Poland’s M3 money supply grew in August 2020 by 16.2 percent year on year and by 0.3 percent month on month to PLN 1.74 trillion (EUR 386 billion), the National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced on Tuesday.

Household deposits fell by 0.1 percent m/m to PLN 940.9 billion (EUR 208.8 billion).

Corporate deposits rose by 0.7 percent m/m to PLN 366.3 billion (EUR 81.3 billion).

Loans in the household sector edged up by 0.2 percent to PLN 780.6 billion (EUR 173.3 billion) while loans in the corporate sector rose by 0.1 percent m/m to PLN 377.9 billion (EUR 83.8 billion).
