Army takes over testing points to lighten medics workload - MoD

The Polish Army is taking over the sample collection points for coronavirus testing, thanks to which medical staff will be able to focus on helping patients, National Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak tweeted on Wednesday.

Blaszczak added that at the moment soldiers are collecting samples at 28 points throughout Poland, and that there are also 53 mobile swab teams.

Earlier, the minister shared information about a briefing with the commanders of the Polish Army and the management of the ministry, during which he received reports on the involvement of soldiers in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic.
