April's CPI in Poland at 2.2 pct y/y - stats office
Prices of consumer goods and services increased by 2.2 percent year-on-year and by 1.1 percent month-on-month in April 2019, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported in a flash estimate on Tuesday.
Economists polled by PAP before the flash publication predicted that April's CPI would reach 1.8 percent y/y and 0.6 percent m/m.
In March, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 1.7 percent y/y and 0.3 percent m/m.
