A personal look at the Warsaw Uprising

In this episode of The Debrief, we talk to veteran journalist and broadcaster Andrzej Krajewski about his family memoirs from the Warsaw Uprising.

In the show, host John Beauchamp speaks to journalist Andrzej Krajewski about a new book he’s written about his family which took him through boxes in the attic and from archive to archive in order to put the pieces of his family history together.

A number of these memories concern the Warsaw Uprising, which of course started on 1 August 1944 and lasted for 63 days as a last ditch attempt to fight for Poland’s freedom.
